The short version

• No accounts: there is no sign-up or login, and there are no ads.
• Bar Down does not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, photos or advertising identifier (IDFA).
• Bar Down does not track you across other apps or websites, so it never shows an App Tracking Transparency prompt.

Crash and performance reports

When the app crashes or freezes, it sends a crash report to Sentry (sentry.io). The report contains:

• the error and stack trace;
• your device model, iOS version and app version;
• a short list of recent in-game steps, such as “faceoff” or “goal”.

Sending personal information is turned off. Reports include no screenshots, no view hierarchy and no session replay. We use them only to find and fix bugs. Sentry’s privacy policy.

Anonymous usage statistics

The app uses TelemetryDeck (telemetrydeck.com), a privacy-focused analytics service. It receives anonymous signals, such as a game started, the paywall shown or closed, or a restore finished. Signals carry no personal values, and TelemetryDeck hashes the user identifier so it cannot identify you. We use these statistics to understand which features people use. Purchases

Purchases are made through Apple’s App Store. We never see your payment details or your Apple Account. The app reads Apple’s verified purchase records to know what you own.

The app reports purchases to RevenueCat (revenuecat.com), which receives your purchase and subscription status, an anonymous app user ID that RevenueCat generates, and your device and app version. This is used to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat’s privacy policy.

Stored on your device

Your game settings and cosmetic picks stay on your device.

Report a problem

The in-app Report a problem button creates a file with an optional note and screenshot. It is shared only if you choose where to send it with the iOS share sheet. Nothing is sent automatically.

Children

Bar Down is rated 9+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Purchases by children go through Apple’s Ask to Buy and Family Sharing controls.

This website

bardowngames.com uses no cookies. Apart from this privacy page, which loads no analytics, the website uses PostHog (posthog.com) for anonymous, cookieless page-view analytics: the pages you visit, the referring site, your browser and device type, and your approximate location (such as city and country), which PostHog derives from your IP address. Nothing is stored in your browser, there is no sign-in, and no profile is created for you. PostHog’s privacy policy.

The website’s optional email signup is handled by Kit (kit.com). Kit stores the email address you enter only to send Bar Down updates, and you can unsubscribe anytime using the link in any email. Kit’s privacy policy.
